Dr. Shaikh relocated from Spokane, WA to Alabama in June of 1996 to start Neurology residency training at the University of South Alabama, Mobile,  Alabama, USA. In October of 1999, He left his Fellowship  in Sleep Medicine at USA Hospital and started private practice in Neurology at the NeuroMedical Clinic in Mobile, Alabama. His patients come from around the extended Gulf Coast area including Florida and Mississippi and as North as Tuscaloosa and Montgomery AL.
